The ease of sharing records or lists of information from Business Central with your colleagues via Teams has been improved in Wave 2 2021.
Financial statement layouts in Business Central are already extremely flexible in allowing you to configure what is shown on the rows (GL codes/Dimensions) and what is shown in the columns (GL codes/Dimensions/Budgets) giving you the ability to report however you wish, but Wave 2 2021 has added even more flexibility.
Sales and purchase documents can contain different types of lines, such as G/L Account, Item, Resource, or Fixed Asset. Read more >
Wave 2 2021 has a few changes on how you work with Excel.
First off, the way to get data into Excel has moved, the Page Menu item has gone and a new icon (same as the share to teams icon) has been added.
Standard Business Central Page views will give you a nice list of open/posted sales/purchase order/return/invoices but they are all at the header level, there is no obvious way to have a page showing the lines. This post will show you how to display a page of the lines.
Microsoft have made a change to the default database storage capacity for Business Central.
The Wave 1 2021 brings the ability to what dimensions are allowed to be posted regarding a customer, supplier, general ledger, item etc.
The Wave 1 2021 brings the ability to automatically create serial (or Lot) information cards when creating serial (or Lot) numbers.
