Wave 2 2020 introduces a feature that helps with better notification of potential duplicates and the actions that can be performed once a duplicate has been detected.

Previously when a record was being created or updated the system will notify the user that a potential duplicate exists, they then either have the choice of just not completing the creation/edit or because they have a valid reason just saving it as it stands.

Wave 2 2020 has a new feature where you can check if there are errors in your journal as you are creating them, rather than finding them when you try to post the journal.

To enable this on a journal in the journal batch screen select edit and make sure the “background error check” is enabled.
